I completely forgot to post an update about the baby! He’s two weeks old now, and doing very well! I’ve had 2 weeks off of work, and will be going back to work on Monday.

Yeah, get a digital! We just got one like two weeks ago, and it’s WONDERFUL! You can take 20 picts, and get the one perfect one, and delete the rest, it’s great!
I just posted an article at uptime about how I got it working in Linux, it was pretty simple.
Great pictures! I’m going through them now! Congrats again!

Thanks, Frank. We’re looking at a couple of digicams. Linux support would be good, but the primary user will probably be my wife, who uses Win2K.
If it acts as a USB hard drive, it’ll work great, I’ve already set up those USB memory sticks which was very easy.

Thanks for the pics. I agree that digicams are better. I’ve got one, but it is first generation so work with a full size PC card and quality is poor. Eric, check out Gallery. There’s a link to it on the bottom of my install at http://www.ritchietribe.net/gallery/. My family has been using it to swap pictures. I’m the only one without pictures up there at the moment.
