Truth is, corporate control of the wheels of government i.e. corporatism/fascism is a far greater threat to us libertarians than a bunch of limp-wristed liberal social programs. Look at the outrageous amount of resources that are stolen from taxpayers to pay for wars of adventure around the globe. Look at the collusion between the finance industry and the US government in the bailouts over the past year. Wholesale theft by the titans of business. Of course, most so-called conservatives these day are a lot more comfortable with fascism and a retreat into infantile religion than with liberty and freedom, but that's another story...

Just saw this - I wanted to chime in that while the idea is legitimate, the reality is far different. Various studies show that large corporations contribute almost zero in job creation, whereas SMBs drive most of the growth. Yet a lot of these tax breaks/benefits/etc go to large corporations.

So really, it doesn't make sense :)
