Computer Engineering is a broad area, covering both the hardware and software side of computers. On the hardware side, you'll learn electronics (both analogue and digital), microprocessor design and use, and potentially other things like VLSI and signals. On the software side, you'll cover SoftwareEngineering?, algorithms, databases, image processing, and more.

Like other Engineering Programs, you have the opportunity to choose your area of study during University, and specialize in the hardware side rather than software, or vice-versa.
